The Fire Marshal training course covers the role of the designated fire marshal (fire warden) such as preventing fires, the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use fire extinguishers correctly. This course is in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Who should attend?
This course is designed for designated fire marshals, people who are responsible for overseeing fire safety and anyone who needs to know how to use a fire extinguisher.

This course is available with or without fire extinguisher practicals (see booking list) where staff will handle and use competently and safely a water and CO2 extinguisher.
Attendees will be observed and will need to be deemed confident and competent in all practical elements, skills and knowledge.
Candidates need a good understanding of English. Candidates must be physically able to demonstrate the practical skills required to complete the assessment.
Successful candidates receive a SAH Training certificate, valid for three years.
